A. Marie with AMPM Productions get's the inside scoop on D-M.A.U.B. and what's getting ready to explode out of One Route Entertainment.Hey yall!! I have had the opportunity to catch up with D-M.A.U.B. to interview him one-on-one about his upcoming project. I am happy to say that this is the FIRST interview about his upcoming cd and I'm glad to be able to let you in on what is coming up from D-M.A.U.B. and One Route Entertainment. A. Marie: How's everything going? D-M.A.U.B.: Everything is going very well! Just workin' hard and takin' care of my family. Staying very busy doing Kingdom work. A.Marie: Yes you are very busy! A lot of people want to know when can we expect another solo project? D-M.A.U.B.: I'm not tellin'!! LOL!! Just kiddin'! I am currently working on finishing up my project now. I am very excited about this album. A. Marie: Do you have a title in mind? D-M.A.U.B.: Yes, "The Release". A. Marie: That's different! Why did you pick that for the title? D-M.A.U.B.: Well, I feel like I have a lot to say and I love to express myself through my music. Things that I have seen and been through gives me a lot to write about, so this is an opportunity for me to "release" my feelings. My music gives me an outlet to let the public know about my relationship with Christ and how I feel about certain things that everyone faces in life. A. Marie: What should we expect on this project and how is it different from your previous projects? D-M.A.U.B.: Versatility and energy!! I love to challenge myself as an artist to try different things with music. I want to continue to grow spiritually as well as lyrically. My delivery has progressed because I'm doing a lot better with staying on beat! LOL!! I don't want anyone to be able to determine how each song will sound. I like to keep the audience guessing. And I believe it's different because this album is more personal. It's also more mature as far as production and content. A. Marie: What is your favorite song on the new project? D-M.A.U.B.: That is one of the hardest questions I have ever had to answer in my life!!!! That's like asking someone who was once blind, "Hey, which eye do you like better"!? LOL!! I LOVE every song because each one is important to me because of the message behind each one. There are no "filler" songs on this project. Every song was carefully selected, making this my best work yet. A. Marie: What artists and producers have you been working with? D-M.A.U.B.: I am working with a couple of new people on this project. My wife Ciara, Shintara Carpenter, and Matthew Bracey. No featured rappers on this project. As far as production, I have Spark It Productions and Epik puttin' it DOWN!!!!! Can't forget my homie "GKiD" across the water in the U.K. who remixed "Don't Talk Me To Death". A. Marie: What new things will we hear from D-M.A.U.B. on this album? D-M.A.U.B.: Just a whole new sound!! The production is ridiculous!! I picked tracks that would encourage me to be creative in my writing and delivery. You will hear song's that express my love for the Lord, encourage people and myself to decrease, everyday life, and so on and so on. This project is really special to me and I GUARANTEE that it is a song on here that will reach you and encourage you right where you are. A. Marie: Where will your supporters be able to purchase the cd? D-M.A.U.B.: They will able to get it on my website, www.onerouteentertainment.com and CD Baby. I am also considering The Bus Shop. A. Marie: In what other ways do you spread the message of God? D-M.A.U.B.: I just got my feet wet in acting. It is very exciting to be on stage portraying different characters and bringing them to life to relay a message. It is different for me but I am used to being in front of an audience so it's more fun than anything! I also teach adult Sunday school at my church (James Temple C.O.G.I.C.) and I try to stay involved with my peers as much as possible by going back to where I grew up and just being a light. A. Marie: Praise God! I love your ministry and I believe that The Lord will continue to expand your territory. I'm going to be the first to get your CD when it comes out. Do you have a release date in mind? D-M.A.U.B.: Not as of yet. But I want to encourage people to continue to keep their eyes open because it will be VERY SOON!! We will start to notify people about a month before it drops. A. Marie: Cool. Well, before we close, is there anything personal that people don't know about you that you want to let them in on? D-M.A.U.B.: Ummmm, ok, I can't freestyle. I suck at it! LOL! I thank God for the ability to write! So please, if you don't want me to be embarrassed, don't ask me to freestyle. I'm going to work on it so I can become better at it. :-) I cry very easy!! But not just about anything, but when I feel God's presence. Man, I cry hard and very loud! I'm talkin' snot and everything!! And I wear women's deodorant!! LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!! Yup, Degree, sheer powder. A. Marie: WOW! That might have been to much information for me! LOL!
