I would say I'd have to agree with Kyrosinc. This true. Once it's out there the enemy can't hold you in bondage. He has nothing against you. I didn't see the show but from what I've read in here Kirk did some testimonying (lol)!! Donnine Maclurklin also spoke out about being sexually abused and homosexual. Now what is he?
To feed off of what K said. They have overcome this minor (in the eyes of GOD) affliction in CHRIST JESUS. As well as myself, you and whom ever else who may be dealing with ANYTHING. And we ALL know we got some struggles if we gon be REAL about it.
Now what do each of us have that we are ashamed of? What is keeping us in bondage? Once we testify we won't be held down with shame and guilt this keeps us further away from GOD.
Kirk had his reasons who are we to judge. But to uplift him and pray for him as well as Mase. We don't know what GOD has told them to do. Now should they not do it because of what OTHERs (many the church) will think? NO IF GOD gave you an assignment no matter what it might look like to others YOU BETTA do it. SO that just may be what they have done. Who are we to judge? Remember Judge NOT least you too will be judged(paraphrase). I sure don't want to be so, if you see Kirk in the act than you GRAB him, say somethin to him. Until than Say nothing but Pray that he will continue to be VICTORIOUS in Christ over this issue. I think everyone has this whole thing twisted. Many of you all may no know this but Kirk Franklin confessed this sin three or four year ago, on TBN. In front of a Christian audience. He had already confessed the sin and had been delivered by the time he got on Oprah. If u dont kno, the show was not about Kirk Franklin, the show was about whether or not pornography can be addictive and if it can destroy homes. Kirk was not the only one on the show, there were like two other non famous dudes. The problem is that most people saw this as Kirks "coming out" but if u research u will find out that he had already confessed this before. That was the premise behind his album "Rebirth". Because he had taken time between Nu Nation Project and Rebirth for the deliverance process to take place. He was more on Oprah to discuss what he went thru and his deliverance. If u noticed at the end when the doctor dude was talking and saying that most guys relapse, Kirk and his wife both said that he doesnt deal with that problem contrary to popular belief. He hasnt relapsed, with the help of his spiritual covering and his wife he has overcome his addiction. God has already forgiven him, the saints should too. Just because you just found out about it doesnt mean its new.

P.S. Also Kirk was the only one on there who could give the perspective of deliverance and froma christian point of view. He was spreading truth, the doctors were saying that men would just have to deal with it, and try not to do it again. Kirk was on there saying that it is a sin and you can be delivered from it, JUST AS HE WAS.
For many people, including myself (who don't watch TBN), Oprah was the 'First' time that we ever heard of this confession, which is why it was such a shocker. No one has anything twisted at all. It was all new to many people, once he decided to make the dumb decision (in my opinion) to go on Oprah and confess. Again, I am done with this, but thought I'd set the record straight as to how and why I feel the way I do.
It wasnt the fact that he was on TBN that i think cats had twisted. Its the fact that he's already dealt with and been delivered from these things, but cats are acting like he's still being afflicted with the addiction. Secondly i still dont get why his going on Oprah was "dumb." No Oprah is not a christian or someone that people should "confess" too, but again it wasnt a show about his confession. He was bringing the christian point of view to the struggle that a lot of men deal with, and IMO he represented himself and Christians well. He was very candid and honest and he also detailed his moment of deliverance and how he got thru it. Whether it was Oprah or Larry King, or TBN it was still a forum for him to show that u can be delivered from such a struggle, and he was a living witness. He wasnt confessing he was giving his personal testimony, gosh.
body of Christ let us do good to everyone especially to those of the house of faith,thats wat the word sayz.come on now lets stop all this bickerin and start growing and maturing,helpin each other and building each other.this walk aint easy coz the devil is roamin around looking for whom he myt devour so we need to come togethr in unity .thats all we got, each other, and the Trinity plus the whole backing of heaven.the world dont love us so lets love and support each other.

First of all anyone who has never sinned is welcome to say whatever they want after this. Since that is no one shut up. It breaks my heart to see brothas and sistas in Christ fulfilling the devils plan! We instead of building each other up look and search for ways to tear each other down. How could he, and why did he, should he have? Be quiet. Kirk Franklin is a man. A hu-man. He is not perfect. The thing about that is you mess up sometimes. Think about this though, did Kirk say Pornography beat me I hate christ and f!#@ you. No. He said I am a man of God who struggled and now have victory over this situation through Christ. He proclaimed it to the world not just women cuz here lies a bunch of men who know about it. Also he had said this before the Oprah interview. It was in Jet magazine on his website and in other music magizines. Kirk is simply saying that for the other Christian men(and women) struggling with this issue, you are not alone; do not be ashamed and hide because that is what the devil wants you to do. Instead confront it, repent, and recieve your victory as I did. For us to murmur and complain that he shouldn't have said to someone who wasn't saved is not valid. The reason the world cannot stand Christians is we make it seem like you have to be perfect to make it. The bible says if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth... thats it. It never says if you live perfect then you pass, because we cannot. This is why Christ had to come to the earth. To abolish the law and through him we could be saved. So as a wrap up David the bible says was man after Gods own heart. The bible also tells of David being a whore and full of faith. What is sad to me is if David were alive today we would not even quiet ourselves to hear what God has told him, but rather we would be chatting about he slept with Bathesheba. Christ is bigger than this.
