Wassup fellow my Christian people!

So, I'm big into hip hop right? I run in to this cat in Florida who starts telling me about Christian hip hop. I'm thinking no way it can be as good as he talks it to be. He says, 'You say you like Eminem?'. I say 'yeah'. He says, 'check out this cat - he's called KJ. And he wrote a letter to Eminem for a song - much like Eminem's Stan'. So I checked it out...yeah, it's tight. It's real tight.

So now my interest has piqued and I'm looking for more. So he gives me these artists and I'm checking them out on iTunes and this stuff is good music. I've always liked hip hip but I've preferred Country music because when it comes down to it Country has had a more positive image (according to what I have listened to). But KJ47 and gang sound to be giving the same message - i.e. that of Christian principles...morality, faith, love...

So I've been hunting around trying to find a church where I can go to a service and see this stuff live but I can't find one ANYWHERE!!! And I live in D.C.!!! Can anyone help me out? I appreciate all of ya. Talk to you soon.

I only know of a Hip Hop Service in Florida and California and I am in Texas... lol... Hope ya find something...  out peace....

I have not heard of any Worship services in the DC area that have any form of Christian Hip-Hop or Gospel Rap. I'm in Alexandria, VA, now. The closest thing I heard of was a show in which The TRUTH performed down in the Stafford, VA area. I don't think it was a church service though.

I have a few tracks that I made a while back on my website - http://taurusbeats.com. Go to the "Music" tab and click on the "Kid Kikit" album (at the bottom of the list). Also, check out the track "Soul Bombin" that I produced for some Brothers in NC. God has moved me into producing music, teaching and preaching. So, I don't flow much anymore. But there are a large number of artists out there with solid products, rooted in the Gospel of Christ. Just keep looking.
