Hurricane Katrina has devastated portions of Louisiana and Mississippi, leaving some dead and many homeless. The situation is getting worse with the heat, no electricity, no gas, and no communications. Looting and other crimes are escallating asmany people are acting in "survival mode" - adding to the already chaotic environment.If you haven't already, take a little time to watch the news reports and ask God to reveal more to you than what the reports can show you. There is a huge need for prayer and support - not just for now, but also in the future.The effects of Katrina will ripple through other states in the US. Gas prices will shoot up, and don't be surprised to see other prices rise too. More than your wallet will be hit, though. Remember, catastrophies like this take a long time to rebuild from -and this is just thebeginningof this year's hurricane season.ITNOJ,
